Cobleskill is the commercial center of Schoharie County, and its largest employers produce most of the work-injury cases I see from the area: SUNY Cobleskill, Cobleskill Regional Hospital, the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District, the Walmart, Price Chopper, Tractor Supply and other stores along Route 7, the Schoharie County offices, and the farms and agricultural businesses the college serves.

SUNY Cobleskill. The campus employs grounds crews, dining and custodial staff, farm and dairy workers at the college’s agricultural facilities, and trades workers. Cobleskill Regional Hospital. Nurses, aides and support staff are injured moving patients and in falls.

I grew up in Syracuse. I received a BA in Chemistry from Wesleyan University in 1996 and an MS in Chemistry from Northwestern University in 1997. I graduated from Cornell Law School in 2001, then worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan.
